Service & Storage Disclaimer
This Service & Storage Disclaimer is provided by Vertex Core LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), doing business as TransferNode, regarding the use of the Service.
1. Third-Party Infrastructure
The Service runs on third-party infrastructure: files are stored with Backblaze, the website is hosted on Cloudflare, accounts run on Supabase, and payments go through Stripe. We do not operate our own data centres.
2. Availability and Speed
We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times or that uploads and downloads will reach any particular speed. Speed depends on your connection, your device, the recipient's connection and our providers. We are not liable for interruptions, slowdowns, failed transfers or downtime caused by outages, maintenance or failures at third-party providers.
3. Not a Backup Service
TransferNode is for sending files, not for keeping them. Files are deleted automatically when their links expire and cannot be recovered afterwards. Always keep your own copy of anything you send.
4. Limits and Fair Use
Transfers are subject to the size, file-count, storage, expiry and daily limits of your plan. We may slow down, queue or limit transfers if traffic or provider constraints exceed normal levels, or to protect the Service from abuse.
5. Files From Other People
We do not review or approve the contents of files people share. Programs, scripts, documents and archives up to 95 MB are scanned automatically for known malware, and transfers containing malware are blocked and deleted; we also restrict some file types on the Free plan (such as web page files sent on their own) and warn recipients about files that can run programs. No virus scanner catches everything, and larger files and other file types are not scanned. If you download files sent to you, you do so at your own risk: only open files from people you trust and keep your antivirus software up to date. We are not responsible for the content of files shared by other users.
6. "As-Is" Provision
The Service is provided on an "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, about availability, speed, delivery or the safekeeping of files.
