Acceptable Use Policy

1. Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy, enforced by Vertex Core LLC (doing business as TransferNode), applies to everything you upload, share or download through the Service, and to how you use our website, app and systems. It is part of our Terms of Service.

2. Prohibited Files and Content

You may not upload, share, or use the Service to distribute anything that:

• Exploits children: Any child sexual abuse material. We report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement, preserve the evidence as the law requires, and close the account immediately.
• Infringes rights: Pirated films, music, software, games, books or other material you do not have the right to share, or anything else that violates copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights.
• Is malicious: Viruses, malware, ransomware, spyware, phishing kits, or files designed to damage or gain unauthorised access to devices or systems.
• Is illegal: Material that is illegal to possess or distribute where you or the recipient are, or that promotes or helps carry out illegal activity, fraud, or violence.
• Violates privacy: Other people's personal or confidential information shared without their permission, including leaked or stolen data and intimate images shared without consent.
• Is used to harass or deceive: Content intended to harass, threaten, impersonate, or defraud anyone.

3. Misuse of the Service

You also may not:

• Use it as a public file host: Post links publicly to distribute files to large, anonymous audiences, embed links on other websites, or use the Service as a content delivery network.
• Send spam: Send unsolicited bulk messages containing share links.
• Get around limits: Use multiple accounts, VPNs, proxies, IP rotation or scripts to avoid size, daily, storage or rate limits.
• Commit ad fraud: Skip, block, fake or automate ads, click ads you are not genuinely interested in, or encourage others to do so.
• Attack or overload our systems: Probe, scan or test our systems for vulnerabilities without permission, run denial-of-service attacks, or flood the Service with requests.
• Scrape or reverse engineer: Scrape the Service, guess or enumerate links, or reverse engineer, decompile or bypass our security or our Android app.
• Abuse payments: Make fraudulent payments, abuse chargebacks, or obtain paid features you have not paid for.

4. Enforcement

We may, but are not obliged to, review transfers that are reported to us or that our systems flag. If we believe this policy has been broken, we may remove files, disable links, limit or suspend features, close accounts without refund, and report the activity to the authorities. Repeated violations lead to permanent termination.

5. Reporting

To report a transfer that breaks this policy, use "Report this transfer" on its download page or email with the full link. We aim to review reports within 24 hours; our Content Moderation Policy explains the process and how to appeal. For copyright complaints, follow our Copyright & Abuse Policy.
